Product Description
The Everlast Water Filled Heavy Bag offers all the training benefits of a traditional heavy bag and more. "Soft Flex" foam surrounding the water bladder feels easy on your hands. Super tough and durable. Offers incredible lifelike feel and action. Because of natural "give" on bag, there is virtually no swaying or swinging during use. Fill with up to 80 lbs. of water. Strong, thick .75 mm bladder. Quick 15-minute set up. Not designed for gym use. Comes unfilled.

3 out of 5 stars decent   November 16, 2008
the shape of the bag became a little uneven after filling it with water, but the quality appears to be decent.

5 out of 5 stars Great on the hands   November 10, 2008
The Everlast Soft Flex Bag has been a great addition in workout equipment. I am 35 years old now and I train only to relieve stress and stay in shape, all while not trying to injure myself in the process. This bag has been perfect for my hands, knuckles, wrist, elbows, and shoulders. I can hit this bag with out having to worry about the aches and pains that normally come with a solid heavy bag. Plus the price was great the day I almost bought this bag in the store for 120.00 dollars. I am very happy

1 out of 5 stars Everlast Soft Flex Water Bag   December 11, 2007

Don't waste your time with this bag if you are serious about a workout and want something that will last. I have busted two of them inside of six months. The first lasted about four months. Everlast sent a replacement after I complained and it lasted two months before it sprang a leak in the side. Also, the bag will bulge in the side and at the bottom. Finally the top of the bag seems to collapse after some use and forms and uneven surface that is difficult to hit without injuring your hand or foot. All around a bad design and dose nothing for the fine name of Everlast.

1 out of 5 stars Lopsided and inconsistent surface!!   October 9, 2007

I chose this bag as replacement to a leaking Century water/air bag that I loved (4+ years old). The foam padding does not provide the needed stability around the water core causing the bag to bend on itself. The result is an inconsistent and awkward punching surface.

4 out of 5 stars Not perfect but I like it   July 13, 2007

Overall this is a decent product. The water filled bag is very easy on your hands and wrists, and simulates a human body(a fat human body) better than a normal bag. The water does absorb some of the impact of the punch lessening bag sway but a loop on the bottom would have been nice to allow chaining to the floor or your bag stand. The bag ships empty and disassembled. You'll receive the blue outer case, a large water bladder, and some black foam to surround the bladder. I had some problems with keeping the bags shape as there was significant sag at the bottom of the bag. They give you foam discs to reinforce the bottom of the case but adding something a little stiffer (like cardboard) may help to keep the bags proper shape. - When the bags compressed from the top and bottom it really fills out the blue case nicely. Otherwise it sags at the bottom and the elongated bladder doesn't fully fill out the case giving the bag an odd appearance and less then stellar performance. It will feel like you need to add more water. To combat this I just stuffed some old t-shirts in the case above the bladder to compress the bag down. This helped but reinforcing the bottom would have improved the sagging problem even more. It's not perfect but it's a good price, shipping is much less then a standard heavy bag, and it's is very easy on your hands and wrists.
