Country: New Zealand #619061.BK By studying the players physical movements and targeted body heat zones adidas was able to build a new All Blacks jersey that is 45% lighter than previous versions. This allows players to have better mobility while being worn during the games. Jersey also includes bonded seams to reduce chafing and irritation. Lifting, catching, passing and setting up for tackle all involve the players extending their arms in front of their body rather than by their sides. With this in mind adidas added the design in the jersey to better support this body position by making it a three dimensional jersey. Technology, simply called Bodymapping, was able to tell where the main heat zones on a player were. Using this ensured that the jersey would breathe in all the right places to keep the players cool. Why play rugby when you can live it? Who else has the haka? Where else would the first World Cup be played? Who else would win it? What team would you expect to unleash Jonah Lomu on the world? Good quality product from Adidas. Will purchase again. One note on sizing, the jersey runs on large side- great for causal wear but for rugby practice or game situation a little larger than needed. Go All Blacks!!!
