A 1.5" Commemorative Coin features the die struck image of Yankee Stadium on one side and Authentic Stadium Infield Dirt carefully laid into the coin on the otherside. Each Coin is labelled with a numbered MLB Hologram allowing verification that the Infield Dirt is 100% Authentic. The Dirt was picked up in the stadium under the auspices of MLB Authenticators. As well the MLB Authenticators witnessed the application of the Infield Dirt onto the coin. Each Coin is individually protected in an acrylic capsule and preserved in a custom black velour jewelry box. Furthermore each coin is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. This unique item is a Limited Edition of only 10000 and Officially Licensed by Major League Baseball.

This coin is perfect for that Yankee fan who wants a piece of the history that is Yankee Stadium. I purchased my coin for that such purpose. I encourage all who can't afford the prices that the Yankees are selling memorabilia for to purchase this item. It is extremely affordable and can be part of your valued treasure of other baseball memorabilia.

For the most part, I am very pleased with the coin. It's really quite beautiful in person, and is a good value. However, be warned: though the product description mentions a certificate of authenticity, it does NOT come with one. And while you are told that the coin is 1 of 10,000 made....the card that comes with the coin is NOT individually numbered. Aside from that, if you want an affordable piece of memorabilia from Yankee Stadium, this would be ideal.
