The Homestead Grays, from just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, are perhaps the most well-known Negro League team. From the mid-1930s through the mid-1940s they won an astounding nine pennants, led by players like Buck Leonard, "Cool Papa" Bell, and black baseball's most powerful hitter: catcher Josh Gibson. This authentic Homestead Grays jersey is made of cream wool flannel with wide navy blue ribbed satin trim around the collar, down the front of the jersey, and down both shoulders and sleeves. It has "Grays" in an arc of large tiffany-style navy blue felt letters on the front, and comes with number 20(Hall of Famer Josh Gibson) in large felt numbers on the back.
