The dimensions of this towel are 30 x 60 inches. Unfortunately, I was concentrating more on the header of the item where this was described as a "pool/beach/bath towel." This item comes in a fairly compressed package, almost shrink wrapped. I hope that fiber reactive means that the towel is going to fluff out. In any case, at the dimensions of the towel, I surely wouldn't recommend giving this to an adult for use as a pool or beach towel. I'm giving it to my 12-year-old grandson for his birthday next year, and he is fairly short for his age, so I hope this is going to be okay. It was on sale for around $10 with super saver shipping, which is about what it is worth. On the positive side, the blue color is vivid, and from what I can see in the package, it appears to be of decent quality. May 19, 2008 update: At his birthday party, my 13-year old grandson loved this towel, and his friends liked it also. He immediately took it out with him to the pool.
