5 out of 5 stars MOST ASONISHING SPORT MOVIE EVER!   June 4, 2007

My mom had this movie when she was a teacher after that she passed it on to me. At the time I had no intrest for the braves but after one watch of the movie I became a braves fan for life.
Now a devote braves fan I still watch this movie over and over. You just never get sick of it. The movie starts out saying how Atlanta was named Losersville. Then the braves improve their stadium. The team improves everything from pitching to the food court. Braves fans are all excited now but geuss what? You geussed it they start losing again. You can hear the fans saying" Not again" But then they start winning again.
There are some sad moments like waching the twins beat them(The braves) in ten but my heart starts racing when David Justace charge home to win the game in the NLCS.
This movie really covers the action on and of the field in 1991. I would recomend this movie to just about enyone expecilly braves fans and faters(Or mothers) trying to get their children into thier favorite team (The braves) or just into baseball.

P.S. I showed this to my younger siblings and they became huge Braves fans. (Much to the disapointment of my father.) (He is a huge METS fan.) (Oh well.)

5 out of 5 stars Best Baseball Video I've Ever Seen   September 19, 2003
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

1991 was the most magnificent year of baseball I've ever seen. Braves fans felt the rush of exhilaration as their also-ran baseball team was in a pennant race. The Braves made up a nine game deficit at the All-Star break, a two game deficit with six to play, and a 3-2 games deficit to the Pirates in the NLCS - to go to the World Series. In the ultimate irony, they lost when having a 3-2 lead heading back to Minnesota.

You get a rush just watching the video. The only mild criticism is that a few stories were not covered in the depth that showed on later Braves videos. But this is where it all started and worth having whether or not you are a Braves fans.
